Cbank allows banks to sell cash currencies except US dollar, euro

MOSCOW, May 19 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank has softened its temporary rules for operations with cash and allowed the banks to sell all foreign currencies except for U.S. dollars and euros without limitations from Friday, it said in a statement on Thursday.

“Banks can sell any cash foreign currency to individuals except for U.S. dollars and euro without limitations from May 20,” the statement read.
